Low budget Orbiting Cats and avoiding the obvious Slampigs reference.

Before you search engine anything off this blog in that friday afternoon haze of "is it the weekend yet?" enjoy some art, news good and ill and wisdom from us your friendly visual conjurors and practitioners of the dark farts.

It's that kind of week. So yes Once again please hit up the Art Beat tomorrow in Davis sq particularly the bar known as the Burren for our humble little table weighed down with artistic goodies. If nothing else it's a bar so rage on. Here's some last minute samplers of some patchery and stampery beany is up to.

Final product will be turquoise on neon pink canvas patch so if there ever was something your thrash jacket was missing well I'd say this is probably at the top of the list. To continue her theme of felines with space program capabilities here are some doodles. Also doodles from Dan, free art if you can name the artwork he was riffing on.

See you in Cambridge, or not because whatever doesn't sell will be in the store monday! Oh well.

shutupmmer. No slacking despite outputicus mediocremus.

Not as much to report this week as the next round of projects get underway. Dan's getting his musical project back on the rails finally now that most of his organs and body can withstand booze and stage fright. Beany's busy getting all of her post con commissions done and out to respective customers. Sorry for the speedy turnarounds. But enough behind the scenes battles right now it's all about
prose and mistaken poetry. That's right the kneejerk book we've been battling away at:

Crow's Nest Volume 1:
A Low Fi Prose Mixtape
Black and White
28 Pages
$3.00 (includes shipping)
(pictures are of the first home print,
finals will be better quality)

Featuring all brandnew fine art by Holy Calamity Studios and Writings by our good friend Elle Darling and shoddy word soups by Dan. These should be printed by next week (we hope?)
and up in our new slightly more organized store. A larger full color edition might surface for amazon kindle probably later this summer depending on how easy that is.

But yes THE STORE!, in all of it's more glorious and far more accessible glory! The previously sold out popular CatBug Prints? Not anymore! Tshirts? Indeed! Posters? Heck Yeah! There will old and new prints and posters going up for sale spontaneously so check back. Now back to our basement lair to hopefully create even more art. Tshirts and comics? I hope so too.

NEW TSHIRTS! NEW ART! NEW DANGER! (AB 2013)

So here's the last marker before another weekend daytrip to the crunch. Yes Animeboston 2013. Starring tons of awkward sales pitches and other situational canonball dodging.Guest starring Suet with her hand crafted jewelery. THE MAIN EVENT: new art from Beany (now with spray paint art),
and the medical disaster Dan, and yes our newest Tshirt Design. Sleeping Dragon will be available first at AB then by monday will be available on the website. Black Speedball ink on White Gildan 5000 Tshirts. $15.

If you attend these said conventions swing by and say hi. There will be a bit more new art outside of what's posted here. Other wise if you reside in the Boston area other ventures will be happening in June. More on that later.  More last minute nonsense for where we are almost at for this.

Now back to the crunch.

One foot in the grave, one toe on valhalla (plus the return of nekked schladies)

So we're not quite dead yet. Other than stiffed out of
pain meds and possibly re/de-belly buttoned dan's hobbling about
and making art so to improve morale here's a blog update.
At least before yet another unfortunate event manifests.
Sans gold stars cause it was gold stars or beer.

we don't want any expectations so there are some sort of rollicking finished art projects and other
such sweet goodies possibly en route, despite non-stop disasteramas. Whatever survives will be at Anime Boston. So see you there hopefully possibly mayhaps?
