All doodles lead to strange places.
Or just a lack of a real updates for the phantom audience we're pretty good at rock(salt)ing.
Got a few break neck last minute white knuckle projects due next week so that info should be viewable for next week.
Up this week in the store is the until now unavailable Sherlock and Watson piece and next week should see a listing for the crow's nest once the price logistics are figured out.
But yeah the artsy and the fartsy from the last month or so of bored transit and transit boredom, something completely different here we go now get gone. Proving the MBTA might possibly be good for something after all if not getting you someplace broke before midnite or late. j/k! LOLZ! But I digress.
Yes the last piece is the floodgate latch riddle of what's up next for Holy Calamity Studios.
Stay tuned next week.

shutupmmer. No slacking despite outputicus mediocremus.
Not as much to report this week as the next round of projects get underway. Dan's getting his musical project back on the rails finally now that most of his organs and body can withstand booze and stage fright. Beany's busy getting all of her post con commissions done and out to respective customers. Sorry for the speedy turnarounds. But enough behind the scenes battles right now it's all about
prose and mistaken poetry. That's right the kneejerk book we've been battling away at:
Crow's Nest Volume 1:
A Low Fi Prose Mixtape
Black and White
28 Pages
$3.00 (includes shipping)

Featuring all brandnew fine art by Holy Calamity Studios and Writings by our good friend Elle Darling and shoddy word soups by Dan. These should be printed by next week (we hope?)
and up in our new slightly more organized store. A larger full color edition might surface for amazon kindle probably later this summer depending on how easy that is.
But yes THE STORE!, in all of it's more glorious and far more accessible glory! The previously sold out popular CatBug Prints? Not anymore! Tshirts? Indeed! Posters? Heck Yeah! There will old and new prints and posters going up for sale spontaneously so check back. Now back to our basement lair to hopefully create even more art. Tshirts and comics? I hope so too.

POST AB POST of redundancy
Here's some last minute nonsense that made the cut for Anime Boston 2013:
Well now if that's so over what's next? We've got a few projects that will slowly start to manifest as
we currently battle some post con cold. Immune systems love sleep deprivation, a diet of jerky, chocolate and first hand mbta fumes. To the fedex printshop employees who perform their job with the attention to detail of a renaissance architect- thank you you are invaluable and may you go on to better things. Also to the fedex print shop employees of boston who steal our money on a regular basis for performing subpar or incomplete work nothing personal- but eat my turds on some spinach, hearts and kisses.
Hey kids!
Now look we know we had a problem with the shop on our website, Hell the whole website may have been Super Highway Information Trainwreck., but don't worry! You know who is respectable and runs a clean organized website surrounded by white picket fences of secure? ETSY! Yes we now have our tshirts and some prints listed through HERE and will surely be adding one offs and other goodies in the future. Last, thanks to all of our friends from this weekend check their websites out listed in the column to the left thank you.

NEW TSHIRTS! NEW ART! NEW DANGER! (AB 2013)
So here's the last marker before another weekend daytrip to the crunch. Yes Animeboston 2013. Starring tons of awkward sales pitches and other situational canonball dodging.Guest starring Suet with her hand crafted jewelery. THE MAIN EVENT: new art from Beany (now with spray paint art),
and the medical disaster Dan, and yes our newest Tshirt Design. Sleeping Dragon will be available first at AB then by monday will be available on the website. Black Speedball ink on White Gildan 5000 Tshirts. $15.
If you attend these said conventions swing by and say hi. There will be a bit more new art outside of what's posted here. Other wise if you reside in the Boston area other ventures will be happening in June. More on that later. More last minute nonsense for where we are almost at for this.
Now back to the crunch.

human follies and staccato vollies re-overture
One week out from any convention is always the worst time
to say: "Well here's what we got so far" because it's usually not
as much as one or their comfort level would hope to see by this point.
But fear not, between impending madness, sleepless
and senseless nights untold piles of art will manifest themselves
just in time(next thursday at 3am)for the kids. So here's the
first skirmish in a weeklong battle of us and our ambition versus
the shitstorm of expected disaster and general
misluck. If we're not dead, see you next friday. Hopefully
at animeboston 2013?
AND BUY SOMETHING DAMMIT. Pretty please?
Now Here is the aforementioned slight progress and a picture
of our cute cat for cute distraction purposes.
Stay tuned.
Stay tuned.
